Adding a Comment to a Post

  1. Click the add a comment link or the # comment(s) so far link for the post that you want to comment on.
  2. Enter your comment in the message field.
  3. Enter your name in the name field and your e-mail address in the email field (your e-mail address will not be published).
  4. Click the Say it! button to post your comment so that others can see it.

FOR BLOG AUTHORS

Writing a Post

  1. Click My Dashboard at the top of the page. (If you do not see the My Dashboard link, go to http://wordpress.com, log in or create an account, and then register this blog.)
  2. Click Write.
  3. Enter a title for your post in the Title field (e.g. Simulation and Game Design Fundamentals).
  4. Enter the text of your post in the Post field.
  5. Place your cursor at the end of the first paragraph of your post (or approx. 4-6 lines into the post where a break makes sense), and then click the Split post with More tag button on the toolbar (just left of the spell-check button).
  6. Select the category or categories that apply to your post (e.g. e-Learning Tools & Lessons Learned) in the Categories box on the right. (Contact Noelle to add a new category.)
  7. Click the Save button to save your post. You can preview your post at the bottom of the page. If desired, make any necessary changes and then click the Save button again.
  8. Click the Publish button to publish your post so that others can see it.

Editing a Post

  1. Click My Dashboard at the top of the page.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click the Edit link for the post you want to change.
  4. Make any necessary changes and then click the Save button. Your post is instantly updated in the blog.

Deleting a Post

  1. Click My Dashboard at the top of the page.
  2. Click Manage.
  3. Click the Delete link for the post you want to delete.
