Learning and Knowledge Management December 14, 2006

I think this post by Jay Cross is on the right track – learning (e-Learning included) and Knowledge Management (KM) go hand-in-hand.   Leveraging the trends of both formal and informal learning, KM can finally get where it really needs to be.  I have been a knowledge worker my whole career and the biggest challenge is always around sharing all that valuable information that is locked in people’s heads.  However it’s always hard to fit it into peoples workflows.

The tools have gotten much better and more accessible.  I don’t hear too many people relating KM with e-Learning.   Is there anyone that is applying e-Learning in their KM intitiatives at their work or for their clients?  If so, what specifically is being done?
