Graphic Novels to Target Gen X/Y November 30, 2006

I don’t remember how I came across this graphic novel by Alison Wong the other day, but this really intrigued me.  What a great way to illustrate a point in a format that reaches out to younger audiences.  Graphic novels continue to increase in popularity.   In 2003 the first graphic novel hit the prestigious New York Times Bestsellers List.   I found myself zipping through it as is even though there’s no new material for me.

So what does this have to do with e-Learning?  This same premise could easily be made to be more engaging and interactive.  What I like about it is that with little modification to the original format it becomes a relatively low-tech course that maintains a high level of engagements for Gen X and Millenials (a.k.a. Gen Y). 

Not a silver bullet, but an option.  Are there any of you from the single letter generations that think this would be a good way to learn?  Bad?
